Should you give the workmen biscuits with their cups of tea or is that too familiar?

Oooh *takes note of all answer* I've workmen coming tomorrow and wondered the same thing. I purchased some special biscuits but was instructed by my better half not to give them to the workmen. Personally, I think that's mean.
