I need help with legal matters about termination?

well i got terminated from my job today, not fired just let go, Human resources said i could come back when my injury is better in my shoulder, she only let me go because of my restrictions of no lifting and repetitive work no am i able to collect unemployment or workman's compensation or something because i don't think she had the right to let me go legally just because of my restrictions.
