Which SLR camera should I buy?

I am planning to buy a digital SLR camera next month from my first salary :) My budget will be around 1200 euros. But I am little confused which one should I buy considering that I am totally noob at photography and don't even know the basics :( I will do a research though before buying, but I have Nikon D90 and Nikon D7000 in my mind. I read their reviews and it seemed quite impressive especially D90. What features should I look for before buying the camera? For me, it should be one time investment, as I don't plan to upgrade camera for a long time.
