Can I afford new carpeting and will workmen do the furniture moving?

I want to replace some badly worn carpeting in a a 20' X 30' room. Medium quality is ok as the room is not used very much.Do you think you could throw me a ball park figure on the cost for this? More than a thousand $?Also there are some very heavy cumbersome pieces of furniture that would have to be moved.Do carpet layers move and then reset the furniture as part of the job? Thank you.
