Ok, so I am gay. I have a friend who is not gay. I'm 25, he's 32. We met during a program at my college that he participated in. We have never done it again, and he has said that he would never kiss me again unless we were on stage (We are both actors). He has also made comments before about "all people being a little bit gay". I have tried to take him there a bunch of times, I will make slight passes, and he will respond with something like, "Yo, I'm not ready to show you my d**k yet", or "I'm not going to have sex with you yet". Its like our whole friendship straddles this line between overtly gay and just extremely comfortable. He just keeps acknowledging the fact that he knows I have feelings, and he knows that he has some curiosity, but he never acts on it and he is always talking to a bunch of girls. NOTE: He and his wife are recently separated. Then he always adds the word "yet" to the end of his sentence when he says that he is not going to do something sexual. As if to say some day, but not today. It seems like whenever I make a pass he declines, but he does subtle things to let me know he is curious. What is going on? Is he conflicted and not sure? Is he waiting for the right moment and/or day? Is he just stringing me along and dealing with me because he feels like he will hurt my feelings if he explicitly rejects me? My husband has been having shoulder pain. Initially a doctor said it was probably arthritis. However, the pain continued and he went and had an MRI. Alright so there is this girl in two of my classes that I like. She's in my math and social studies classes. Actually, it depends on where you apply to. My current server position required 2 interviews. If she didn't say that you were hired or tell you when you will start, I would assume that they did not hire you. It's possible that they will call you with that information, so don't lose hope. Im having double hip surgery starting next month?

I have court date, a lawyer for Workman's comp. It's in two days,here is some details, I was working as a CNA at a nursing facility on the 10 to 6 am shift. There is a 40 some year old resident that was in a padded room and Very combative, all the aides were scared of him and leave him often times, he was incontinent and I would find him a mess, so I would always fight with him to get him cleaned up. He has hit and kicked me many before this. Then one night he was really combative and the nurse said she wasn't going to be hit by him anymore and the co CNA has always said she can't deal with him, so I was left to care for him alone. As I was taking off him adult brief he drawled his leg back, like in a fetal position and the kicked me in the side of the head when I was not not looking at him. I was hurt, I went straight and told my charge nurse and filed a incident report. I told our Director of Nursing (DON) within the next 3 days that it wasn't getting better, she sent me to their Doc and she wasn't even a Doctor, but anyway,she ordered Xray's and said I had a torn mussel in my shoulder. So I was on light duty for a week, then let off to full duty. Then I was still hurting all the time and I should of been getting better but was not. Then I was changing a heavy resident and she was using her light a lot that night, more then usual, needing changed..she was also incontinent, but did not wear a adult brief. So I was getting her cleaned up again and my 70 year old coworker was there with me and as I was pulling the dirty sheets and pads out I felt a pop and the pain was horrible, I couldn't even turn my head, barely got home and everything changed I was am so hurt! So I went to my family doctor because I was in pain and I could hardly stand it anymore. He ordered a MRI of my neck and back and a week later he had me come in and said I had 2 ruptured disc's in my neck and bulging disc's om my lower back and degenerate disc disease and arthritis! He said when I was kicked in the head I ruptured 2 disc's and NO WORK..but my boss was sending me threatening text's so I was scared I was going to loose my job and I really loved those people that I cared for and had been there a year and was really used to things and had a routine down. So when I was put on No WORK..I went to my Doctor and begged him to let me work..I told him it's nights and I would take it easy..we had a new girl at this point that was a good worker. He didn't want to but he did and made a note that I would take it easy and so I went to my DON and said he released me..she put me on 2nd shift..where the work is so much harder and put me on the hardest hall. Oh sorry I didn't have the MIR results at this point yet..I was trying to save my job and he put me on light duty at first and then I begged him to let me off and he did because I wanted to go back to my shift but in stead she put me on evening..ok sorry 'bout that...anyway we had a new administrator and he was not nice and the DON was new also. They were on me all the time about when will I be released..so one day I was at work and the administrator came to me and said "Find out right now..call your Doctor and see if the results are in" So I did and they were and I went back to them and said they were but my Doctor wants to see me..so I went and that's when he told me..the next day I was called in the office and accused of passing out a narcotic Zanax! I was SHOCKED to say the least and demanded a drug test..I wanted to read what I was accused of and the denied me this, the next morning I was to call the Human resources department and she said we are not going to give you a drug test we have decided to go another rout and for me come in..I thought they was going to let it go because there was absolutely no truth to this at all!! I got there and they all took me into this room and terminated me right there, and wanted me to sign this paper and I refused and was so upset!! I tried to leave gracefully the DON walked me to my locker and out the door, so humiliating!! I went to my Doctor and told him what happened and he told me I needed a lawyer..so I went home and picked one out of the phone book. He took the case right away, told me to file for unemployment, I did and got it right off because The place where I worked had no proof of what I was being accused of. Now I have been accepted by Workman's comp but under investigation and now is claiming preexisting and now we have court in two day's..I have been waiting for over a year and my insurance has denied all Doctor bill's for my neck and the Workman comp lawyer's have rescheduled the interrogation 3 times so I gave all my Doctor bill's to my lawyer and then all the sudden I have a doctor appointment with their doctor and a court date a week later!! Injured at workplace. Will workman's comp cover loss because now I cannot donate plasma?

Should I settle my workman's comp case?

The workman's comp doctor gave me an original rating of 15%. While in the courtroom there was some offers and counter offers. My lawyer made a offer of 27.7% disabled which would translate to about $31k. The workman's comp lawyer came back with $27k. oh I forgot to mention the judge had said that I should be awarded $6k for my medication over the next 10 years, and the opposing lawyer said they would pay $3k. So the problem that I face now is should I settle now or take the case to trial? Oh and they will not keep my medical records open unless I take it to court. So far every Dr. that I have been to has told me that I will need medical treatment in the future. So I am skeptical of taking an offer that would close my case. My lawyer has said that the trial would probably not come about for at least 7-9 months. So any opinion will help. If Medicare and Medicaid should exist at all, it should be on a STATE level, NOT a federal one. It should be up to the states to decide how to deal with the poor and elderly. Many people are scared that if we take the federal government out of Medicare and Medicaid, people are going to be left to die on the streets. But, I think the opposite is true. I think states can do a much more productive job of managing the poor and the seniors than the federal government EVER can. If you don't believe me, look at how inefficient, expensive, and unsustainable Medicare and Medicaid are RIGHT NOW with the federal government's CURRENT role in them! If we bring these programs to a state level where they belong, surely they can't get any worse, right? So, why not give it a try?

Should I file a Health Insurance Appeal?

I am self employed and I work full time for one Company as a consultant. While leaving their office one day I twisted my ankle and fell. I saw my doctor and assumed it would be covered by my health insurance. The claim was denied. I'm looking for answers about pregnancy disability in the state of Texas. I'm 28 years old, 4 months pregnant, and I have been an Emergency Medical Technician for 9 years. She takes a somewhat leadership role in many of the team projects (although she explicitly states that she has no desire to lead a team as a supervisor herself), comes up with many of the ideas we implement, and will often drive completion of various goals. She suffers from asthma and respiratory illnesses, sometimes coming down with pneumonia. She feels really bad about her attendance and has consulted her doctor, working on different treatment plans to get her illnesses under control. When I consider what she contributes to the team, I will often overlook many of the absences, making sure that the rest of the team is ok with their workload, gaging how they can be helped to not be overloaded due to her absences. For the most part, she is able to catch up without needing extra assistance and the others are very understanding. However, I am wondering if there is something more I should have been doing. We have new members in the team as I will be leaving on maternity leave soon and already I am noting some discontent from the new members due to the amount of sick time this top performer has been taking. Can you file a Workman's compensation claim if your existing injury got worse due to bulging disc herniating?

I have had 2 discs removed and had a bulging disc from original work injury. The bulging disc herniated and doctor wants to remove it and do a back fusion. Original Workman's compensation case was settled in 12/2009 except there is a medical rider attached to contract for medicare to come up with a cost figure that workman's compensation has to pay for future medical expenses related to injury that hasn't been closed yet. My original attorney for case quit on me after I found out she was lying to me about things pertaining to settlement. I am in constant chronic pain and do not know what to do or who to trust. I think the majority of people, including conservatives, don't care what people do in private. What they dislike is the in-your-face attitude and actions we see from many gays. My surgeon who's care I'm under wanted me to have injections, so I made an appointment to have them done . My primary dr is against it and tried to talk me out of it. I said no. The surgeon wanted to try injections before fusion. My primary suggested some other surgery and offered to call the surgeon and asked " if the surgeon agrees to do this other surgery would you rather have the surgery then the the injection I replied yes. Well my primary left a voicemail letting me know he left a detailed message about the other surgery and he'd get back to me and if the surgeon said no to this surgery he was gonna list me as P&S . Well I never heard back from my primary so I called the surgeon because my injection date passed with no word. When I called they said my primary told them I said I didn't want the injection and the other surgery wouldn't help me. Now the the surgeon says he can can no longer help me and I should be seen somewhere else! My question is can a dr legally cancel my injection without my say so? What Island Should I See?

I'm gonna be staying in Panteleimonas, it's at the northwest end of the Agean Sea. I was planning to visit one of the main islands, like Crete or Rhodes, but they're too far and too expensive. They have a trip to Skiathos for 45 Euros, but it's over a 100 miles from where I'm staying. It's gonna take forever to get there. I'm not sure where thy're sailing from. What about Thaos? It's a little further from Skiathos though, and once again the problem is getting there. These are only day trips, so it's probably gonna dock at some beach and I won't have much time to see the island. But I can't come to Greece without visiting an island. Is Skiathos a good choice? I joined an organization as an accounting apprentice under one year training contract. As per the terms of contract, the co. agreed to pay my educational expenses during the training period. The terms of the contract explicitly state that If i discontinue my training before one year, I am bound to refund all the amount the co. has spent on my education. At the end of 1 year, my contract was extended for another year with clause 'all the terms of contract remaining unchanged'. At the end of second year, the training contract was extended in the same way for the third consequetive year without any break between the contracts. The co. paid my fees during all three years as I continued to pass my exams. shortly before the end of third contract I found another training program somewhere else. After serving one month notice period, I left the organization. Now i am informed that I have to pay all the educational fee the co. paid since inception, i.e from the start of first training period in order to get my relieving certificate and experience certificate. However i feel that as each contract was for one year only, I am bound to refund only the fees that has been paid during the current contract period as I did not breach any of the first two contracts and duly completed without any break or breach. The HR says if I dont refund the amount, there'll be a case of recovery against me for the amount. I need a legal opinion as per the general employment contract law, whether the extentions of training contract for two years bind me to refund all the fees paid during period of all three contracts; one initial contract and two extentions. or I have to refund only the fees that was paid during the current contract period by the co. ?
