Can They Do This Legally?

They can require you to see the company doctor, but that does not mean you cannot see your own doctor for a second opinion. No one should have been in the room but you and the doctor and a nurse. Not your employer or your friends. You can get copies from workmans comp. The doctor put you on restrictions which I guess means you cannot do your job and they do not have light duty. They cannot fire you while on workmans comp but again if you cannot do the job they can tell you not to come until released from restrictions.
