Can I take a new job now while still in physical therapy?

For about a week I've been going to a chiropractor (which I pay for) and now have started my first physical therapy session that the company will be paying for. My therapy is supposed to last two weeks. I just got a call today offering me a new position that will start in two weeks. My present job is part-time and I want to handle this legally. What are my steps to continue to get the help I need in the next two weeks. Tell my employer now or workman comp representative? Would it be right to go through the two weeks rehab and when released to go back to work still work like a day or two until my resignation takes affect? Example: new job will be from Monday to Thursday so should I keep working on Fridays in preset job until resignation goes into effect?
