Does the Bible forbid the Christmas tree?

This passage is talking about idolatry, a practice that is clearly hated by God. Here God is essentially showing the futility in making idols, much like He does in Habakkuk, if you go on into the next verse it makes it much clearer "5 Like scarecrows in a cucumber patch, their idols cannot speak. They must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them for they can do no harm and they cannot do any good." Now there may be another legitimate argument against Christmas tree's, I'm just saying it's not in this passage
